| (News) Dragon and Dungeon Magazines to Cease Publishing |

Paizo Publishing announced yesterday that their license for both Dragon and Dungeon Magazines is not being renewed by Wizards of the Coast. As such they will cease publishing both magazines and the last issues will be the September 2007 cover date issues. Wizards of the Coast has no plans to continue the magazines themselves, or license them to a third-party publisher. Instead they will increase their online support content and articles to help support and grow their fanbase.
This is a very sad announcement imho. Dragon, and Dungeon, have been immensely important magazines over the years and have introduced - or helped support - many people in the hobby. Plus they've uncovered great talent through a host of authors and artists who were first published in their pages over the years.
RIP Dragon & Dungeon.
